Oriana Brine


Senior Strategist, Forum for the Future

Oriana has over a decade of experience working in business performance and strategy in the energy, agriculture, maritime, and government sectors in Asia Pacific, and is a Senior Strategist at Forum for the Future’s Singapore office. She works alongside Forum’s leading companies on their sustainability strategies and policies, and cross sector partnerships and programs on decarbonisation and supply chain transparency. Prior to Forum, Oriana worked in business performance and risk for the Executive team at New Zealand’s largest energy company, Vector, and marketing and innovation for the global seafood company, Sanford. At the Ministry for Primary Industries, she led nationwide emergency responses for invasive pests and diseases, and negotiated international trade agreements for the export of agriculture commodities. Oriana started her career as a consultant advising energy and agriculture companies on how to solve climate change and sustainable agriculture issues.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Waikato, a Postgraduate Diploma in Science and Master of Science in Marine Science from the University of Auckland. She has since studied International Trade Law at Victoria University of Wellington, and is a Prince2 Project Manager. Oriana sits on the Board of the New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Singapore.
