We’re honoured to have been shortlisted for the 2019 GREEN4SEA Initiative Award alongside our highly respected peers BEMA, EGCSA, Probunkersand the International Windship Association. SSI was nominated for its efforts to drive progress on responsible ship recycling through transparency by way of the Ship Recycling Transparency Initiative (SRTI).
We’re also delighted that this marks the second time we’ve been recognised by GREEN4SEA for our efforts towards greener shipping; in 2017 we were shortlisted for the Clean Shipping Award 2017.
Help us achieve our vision of a sustainable shipping industry by setting a new norm for responsible ship recycling. The more people hear about the SRTI, the more demand there will be for shipowners to be transparent and for cargo owners and financial stakeholders to make informed decisions using SRTI data.
